Friday, September 26, 2008 11:15 AM During Hurricane Andrew you told me not to be scared and that you had been through worse. After it was over the house was badly damaged. I wanted coffee but I had not ground any. You went outside, found some wet wood and started a fire in the wet fireplace. You got out "Granny's" little hand grinder and iron pot. You boiled water threw in the coffee, and made my wish come true. What a survivor you were. That is just one of my fondest memories of you Momma. Susan Bowman (Miami, FL)
