Saturday, September 27, 2008 1:53 AM Boy do I remember. I can't even begin to tell where where I would start. I'll start with , my grandmother "mom" was and still is, the most caring , thoughtful, insightful human being that I've ever come across and it's not even close. This woman literally grabed me by the seat of my pants as a small child and saved my life. My biological mom was very young when she had me "17 to be exact" and my grandmother stepped up to help" lord knows we needed help" and she raised me as her own. If I might say so myself, she did a hell of a job! All things considered, Fish Mary gets an A+ in my book. She never had to do a thing for me if she didn't want to. She very well could have moved on with her life and that would have been fine, but she didn't. Of course she didn't. She always continued on the path that the lord set out for her. Never wavering. She just did it her way. The right way. Like always, as I remember it, she just did what was right in her heart. All this wonderful woman ever did for me was LOVE me. As a mattter of fact, that's all she ever did for anyone that took the time to get to know her and in many cases, she didn't even have to know you. She just loved everyone that deserved to be loved. In her own way of course. She would share her love with anyone that needed it. She did it without any conditions either. She is pure, she is exactly what's good in this world. May her LEGACY inspire others to live on for others and to give more of yourself than one would ever expect to receive. Life is short. My grandmother has proven it. Be good to each other and most importantly, LOVE EACH OTHER. That's the way my " mom" would want it. She'd have it no other way. God Bless you all and may God Bless Mary Bowman. Her #1 Anchor Boy, TONY Tony Contact Me
