I read the column today in the herald and called Jim Carr immediately and my brother Richard, and shared our wonderful memories of "Pilchard Mary" on the South Beach Fishing Pier, but I didn't know until Jim told me this morning that she was your mother, Sue. Small world. Just wanted you to know that we have always cherished those childhood memories, growing up in Miami, and that your mom will always be affectionately remembered.
